Jules Verne and the Vigo Bay

Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea is a classic science fiction novel by French writer Jules Verne. Since first being published , the Nautilus and its captain Nemo have been embedded in the minds of people worldwide. Nevertheless, very few know that there’s a chapter and a seaport, which are key to Verne’s adventure. Vigo bay was the place where certain technological advances were developed in a distant past and later Verne would add these up to his famous novel .
