Seahorses are fish about to go extinct worldwide. They are very sensitive to pollution and widely overfished in Asia for traditional medical purposes. Scientists working for the Instituto de Investigaciones Marinas in Vigo (CSIC) have managed to fishfarmed seahorses. This is a pioneering benchmark, which actually guarantees the survival and speedy reproduction of the seahorse. Likewise, it has a great comercial application.
