A Big Leap Forward: Here it comes… The G-SAT

After great success with the Xatcobeo Satellite and the Humsat, the University of Vigo has been working hard to launch another satellite, that will be the first commercial gallician satellite ever: The G-Sat.

It will be 110 lb (pounds) heavy and will aid the Galician Government in preventing wildfires and keep a grip on red toxic tides, that affect seafood and fish in the area.

Ph D Fernando Aguado, managing director of the Aerospace Strategic Cluster of UVigo at Galicia discloses all the secrets about the new top notch Galician Satellite Project. It will definitely be a big leap forwrd for Galicia to start off an aerospace industry in Vigo and to be able to be competitive in other foreign markets alike.
