Plastic Sea

Around 8 million metric tonnes go into our oceans each year. The tiniest ones are called microplastics, and are assimilated by the micro organisms at sea. And do we not know what the outcome of this ongoing plastic dumping will be or how harmful it can be for humans . A team, from the University of Vigo, leads the European project ”Ephemare”, together with scientists and research institutions from 10 different countries, long to answer this question.
