EMPATTICS: New Technologies at the Service of Chronic Patients

The European EMPATTICS program, in which the Xunta participates through Axencia do Coñecemento en Salud, has as a priority for the use of new technologies to improve care for chronic patients. Diseases such as COPD, diabetes and heart failure are the starting point to provide new monitoring and control mechanisms for the thousands of chronic patients that live in Galicia. The program is underway with the main target of achieving specific results in the near 2019.
